From poor documentation comes poor designs.  Sarge knows the importance of good documentation that is easy to read and understand for everyone on the design team.  He has been educated in technical writing, and makes the important points well understood in the documentation. 

Sarge has participated in hundreds of design reviews, and knows what to look for to prevent trouble further down the road.  Whether it be creating a complete test plan, searching for poor Verilog coding styles, or spotting troublesome coverage models, Sarge tries to spot problems at their earliest point, the design review. 

 

In his full time and consulting employment, Sarge has been a manager of many a design teams, and knows how to maximize the talents of each of the engineers on his team.
